Oh no! Aviona is in heat, why do some have to be so early I can't remember her mother being this early.

She will be 1 year old on the 15th of April, she is only 9 months old :( 

Well, I guess if she continues being in heat, I need to make some plans so that I have those in place as soon as she is tested and ready, fingers crossed, for a test day at the beginning of March.

I'm very happy with her type, question what male to use?

The first choice would have been Ari, if he had not been her half-brother, Silly is her father so nope, then I got Caruso, but he is also closely related, so Lyon is the only one left to choose since I do not seem to be able to wait for Olli if he passes the tests in August-September.

Unless I choose to borrow an outside male, but with the lack of males in Sweden right now, that does not feel like an option. It seems like it's time to start looking for males to see what might be available at the time she is tested and passes her tests.

 

Mating has been done and we are hopefully expecting kittens from Trollungen Million Dollar Baby and Dagdrivarn Caruso. Her eyes are not that bad, just sunlight making her squint *LOL*
This is not a super low mating (hard to get it very low with this lady because of how high in Clones she are herself 34,5%). If she is pregnant she is due around the 7th of February, fingers crossed.

There are 41,94% tested behind those two inside the health program, looking at 5 generations.
Not as much as many of my other cats/matings but still a good amount. 

COI is 8,54% and The Clones are 27,2%
